Treat every opportunity like it’s an audition.
We craft brand stories. Get employees on board with your brand vision. Make sure people outside your walls know what you stand for. Give sales teams traction ahead of the cold call. Generate leads. Make people stop, think, or laugh, and like you enough to lower their defenses and consider buying.
We’d tell you that we’ve been around the block, but the block keeps expanding. So we keep learning and relying on our many years of experience to ensure we can solve your marketing challenges.
Give us access to your knowledge, and we will invest our time to understand your business and the people you want to call customers.
Background
Before founding Noggin in 2006, I was an ad agency creative director working on Fortune 500 and regional businesses. I spent four years at Dentsu Osaka, writing for major Japanese brands and eating ridiculously great food. I think your biggest advantage is a passionate belief in what you do – unless you truly have something everyone wants and no one else has.
When I’m not working, you might find me and my daughter wilderness camping (if you’re willing to go looking along the most difficult routes). Or hanging out by water with my wife, daughter and Theodore Rough Rider, our Chesapeake Bay Retriever. Do you need work-life balance if you love what you do?
Background
Elevating brands through strategic and sophisticated design is game-changer and, for too many companies, a lost opportunity. For years I led an award-winning 50-person design firm. But my greatest reward is producing work that gets noticed for its message and grace. Six years ago, I decided to go back to what I love: just designing. I’ve always been both a student and a teacher of the craft.
When I’m not working, I might be working (Marketing will do that to you; there’s always something fun to learn). Or playing guitar at church, reminiscing about my rock band or thinking about our oldest child, who’s currently touring with a musical heavyweight.

As a senior marketing strategist, my first job is to listen to client business challenges. I’m charged with delivering insightful strategy. While I know the agricultural industry like the back of my hand, I also have worked on big-brand B2B and consumer accounts. There’s no better reward than helping clients achieve their goals and objectives. Oh, and I love to compete.
I grew up on a farm and remain actively involved in agriculture, whether helping out on my parents’ dairy farm or teaching our kids what it means to be a proud farmer. If I’m not with my husband and kids, I might be beating someone on the tennis court or in a game of one-on-one hoops.
Background
A lot of businesses offer similar products and services. Marketing sells them. I grew up on a dairy farm and love talking to farmers. I appreciate their candor and love their stories. Isn’t that what marketing is about? Be honest and interesting, and let people get to know who you are and what you stand for.
A lifelong hobby of mine is dirt track racing. In my spare time I work with the Lafayette County Speedway, finding sponsors, writing communications materials, handling website development and helping with the books. “Opportunity is missed by most because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” -Thomas A. For me, it’s all about the work. Creative is king. Advertising that works is most often idea driven, well-crafted, strategic and insightful. But most importantly it’s work that gets noticed because it’s different. For over 20 years, I have worked for small and large agencies on brands ranging from retail, higher education, and healthcare. I’ve mentored and guided creative teams. I’ve collaborated with some really great people along the way and even won a few national awards for creativity. I’m excited to bring my best to work with Noggin.
When I’m not working, I enjoy going to museums and restaurants with my wife, visiting my kids in New York and taking day trips from our home in Philly to the beaches along the Jersey Shore.

My specialty is helping organizations identify communications needs, set goals, develop messaging and strategies, and prove the value of the communications function with excellent execution that achieves results. I believe that a lot of organizations could spend less on marketing and still outshine their competitors. I’m an avid learner and teacher. I’m kind of a bulldog about great work. Do it well or don’t do it.
Family comes first. I’m blessed to spend meaningful time with our kids and still pursue my craft with passionate, kind people. If we’re not shuffling our kids to chess tournaments, we might be at basketball, the lake or with extended family.
